With this whole quarantine, most of us have been spending more time in the kitchen. I’ve been enjoying it so much, experimenting with new recipes, making new meals. Comfort food has never been more comforting than now. So I wanted to share a super quick and easy recipe with you guys! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Frozen Green Peas & Carrots
Teriyaki Sauce or Liquid Aminos
Start with bringing a pan to medium heat. Season your chicken with the garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and paprika. Throw your chicken in the pan and cook until brown on each side. Once it’s brown on both sides, I like to throw 3/4 cup of water and cover to finish it off. It keeps all the juices in and so so moist!
In a separate pan, saute the frozen green peas & carrots along with the cauliflower rice. Feel free to season to your liking. I used the same seasoning as the chicken.
Once everything is done cooking, grab your bowl! It’s time to plate.
Throw your cauliflower rice blend, slice your cooked chicken, then top with bean sprouts, green onions and teriyaki sauce or liquid aminos.
This recipe is super quick and customizable. You can change the cauliflower rice for actual rice, throw scrambled egg, ham, shrimp, tofu. Absolutely anything.
