A question I get often is how I edit my Instagram photos. My style has definitely changed throughout the years but I finally feel like I’ve found my style when it comes to my feed and brand. So this post is really going to be more visual. I like to keep things clean and simple when it comes to my photos. I find that the less you edit, the more cohesive and easier it is to maintain your feed. Now that’s not to say that I stick and abide by these rules 100% of the time. Every now and then I’ll throw something in there that definitely doesn’t go but that’s the fun of Instagram!
The ONLY app I use to edit all of my photos is the Tezza app. It’s truly my holy grail, my one-stop-shop. The app is free to download and is $1.99 a month or $19.99 per year. The app’s presets are so much fun and there are so many options to chose from. When I first started using the app, I would use the Mood preset. Nowadays I use the Indo preset. This preset works really well with my photos and keeps everything looking cohesive. Also, I never apply the full preset. Depending on the photo, I’ll set it between 25-35.
And that’s really it! How easy was that. I keep my editing to a minimum. I’m a firm believer in capturing a good, high-quality photo versus a low-quality one. It’ll save you so much time and effort in the long run. Something I also learned recently is to clean your lens before you take the photo! It sounds so silly but I wasn’t doing it before and noticed that my photos would come out blurry or fuzzy. I also use the Tezza app to edit most of my Instagram stories. And in case you’re wondering, 99% of my photos are taken with my iPhone 10.
I hope this helped! Love you lots! Till next time, xoxo.
