Gift Wrapping 2018

Gift Wrapping 2018

We’re in the middle of the holiday season and I can’t tell you guys enough how much I love this time of the year. It’s honestly my favorite and if you’ve been following me for a long time, you probably know this already hahaa.

This year, I wanted to do something a little different when it came to gift wrapping. I know that most of us are spending a ton of money on gifts so I wanted to think of a fun way to reuse some wrapping paper I had laying around along with a few other things.

Don’t be fooled, I’m not this creative! I found a lot of inspiration from Pinterest! So definitely head over there for some cute ideas! Tell me which one is your favorite! I loved all of them but I think my favorite was definitely the bouquet one because it’s like getting two gifts in one!

1. I love using brown packaging paper for gifts. It gives off such a cozy and warm vibe (wrapping paper will do that for you). For the “let it snow” sign, I cut it off a Trader Joe’s bag. Seriously guys! Don’t throw those away! Their holiday grocery bags are the cutest right now. The string I used for the gifts is just a simple white one so any string would look cute!

2. Drop whatever you’re doing and go to TRADER JOE’S. Forreal you guys! You know how they have their cute newspaper? Well grab one or two or five and use them to wrap those smaller gifts! It’s really good and sturdy paper, perfect for wrapping. And add a cute herb like thyme! Just remember to add it closer to when you’re gonna give the gift so that the herb stays fresh.

3. This one is probably my second favorite! I love the minimal look and it’s the one that took me the least amount of time! With this one, you can totally skip a nametag and add a polaroid of the person receiving the gift! I love this idea so much, it’s actually my second time doing this hahaa. Catch last year’s version on the gram.

4. I absolutely fell in love with this one! Like I mentioned, it’s my favorite. I made the bouquet out of the Trader Joe newspaper and I bought the flowers from there too! To make the bouquet holder, I just shaped the paper into a cone-ish shape, stabled it so that it held its shape and taped it to the wrapped gift. I’d definitely say to use strong tape or E900 glue. That’s the good stuff! Then you can add the person’s favorite flowers, even plants. You can really add anything inside.

This was so much fun to do! I hope you guys liked it. Let me know what you think!

I love you guys & we’ll talk soon.
