The One Restaurant You Need To Visit in Miami

The One Restaurant You Need To Visit in Miami

Okay okay so if you’re 1. A South Florida local, 2. A major foodie, or 3. visiting Miami soon, you’re gonna LOVE this. As you guys probably know by now, Miami Spice is in full swing. But for those of you who don’t, let me give you the rundown. Miami Spice is a promotion that runs from August 1st – September 30th where restaurants offer prefixed menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner at a super affordable price. Lunch/Brunch coming in at $23 and Dinner at $39.  AND let me just say, this is seriously one of my favorite times of the year. Being the major foodie (or fat ass) that I am, before getting my “big girl” job, I had always wanted to try all these super cool restaurants I’d see online. But if we’re keeping it real, I was never able to afford to dine at these restaurants. Yes, even with the special during Miami Spice.

But now that ya girl is working full-time and has the greatest job ever, I can finally say that I’ve been to one of the restaurants I had been dying to go to, Cafe Roval in Morningside. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They are the owners of another favorite called Soyka but this place really blew us away. With its beautiful walkway and garden, it’s the perfect spot to escape for dinner. I’d totally recommend sitting outside if the sun isn’t super hot. I took my mom and we made reservations for 6:30 PM which ended up being perfect because the sun wasn’t beaming down.

And don’t even get me started on the food. It was everything and more with the flavors, textures, combinations (lol who am I, Guy Fieri?). But I’ll link the restaurant’s Miami Spice menu right here so that you can see the whole Miami Spice menu for yourself. And this is what we ordered off the menu for Miami Spice.

Beef Cheek Dumplings (yemen-spiced broth, potato, chili oil)
