Five Women Owned Businesses That Are Killing the Miami Scene

Five Women Owned Businesses That Are Killing the Miami Scene

Anybody else feels like March is flying right by them? It’s so crazy. March is one of my favorite months for two reasons, it’s my birthday month but even more exciting is the celebration of WOMEN! March has been recognized as International Women’s Month since the late 1970s. And this month (or any month), we’re not holding back.

Women are breaking barriers every.single. day. And it’s been so inspiring to see in the past 23 years of my life, where we started and where we are today. Our voices are LOUDER than ever and honestly it’s empowering and if I’m being really honest, despite feeling so empowered, I know I can use my voice to speak more openly and honestly (specifically in the workplace). This past month has been a challenge and I won’t get too deep into it for obvious reasons but I have been feeling anything but empowered. And I really want to change that.

But anyways, I wanted this post to be about the amazing, strong, determined women who are KILLING it. They’ve taken their talents and dreams and made them a reality. They inspire me to work hard and to dream big because anything is possible.

Meet these girl bosses & show them some love! 💕

Lauren Guanche, Owner & Creator of LP Original

Lauren is making our lives WAY CUTER. From her phone cases to her adorable blankets to her sweet personality! I love catching her Insta stories where she’ll show you her creative designs from beginning to end.

Martha, Owner of Martha of Miami

Martha brings the best Miami inspired tees, mugs, pins. Anything and everything you can think of! Ps. Coladas & croquetas clearly run through her veins. #BFFgoals

Prism Creative Group

This amazing team of women are changing the way Miamians do Miami. Focusing on culture and the music scene, their feel-good events always deliver this sense of community and empowerment.

Ever After Floral Design

A recent favorite, Ever After Floral goes above and beyond. How do I know? I catch their Insta stories and every single time I’m left speechless. From the small details to telling your story, these women are passionate and it shows so clearly through their work.

Eileen Andrade, Chef & Owner of Finka Table & Tap

I don’t even know where to begin! In the heart of Kendall, Finka Table & Tap has brought amazing cocktails & plates closer to home. I’ve never had a better fusion of Peruvian, Korean, and Cuban food in my life. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. And fun fact, her family owns Islas Canarias (another local favorite).
