If you’re Hispanic, you probably understand my struggle when I say this, I CANNOT STUDY in my house. My parents are louder than normal parents so I’m constantly looking for some peace and quiet especially during the time of midterms or finals week.
So here are a few of my go-to spots when I’m trying to get my study on or I’m just craving some good coffee which is more often than I’d like to admit.
Roasting Buddies: If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably heard about them before. But I just fell in love with Roasting Buddies the first time I walked in. They have great, ample space and the ambiance is so right. A great plus is that they have outlets EVERYWHERE so no dying phones or laptops.
Pasion del Cielo Coffee: This place totally won me over because of their hours. Most coffee shops close early but Pasion del Cielo closes every night at 11 PM and at 12 AM on Saturday nights. I have been here before and there are times when it is packed so if you’re cramming in those last study sessions, I’d suggest going super early when they first open.
Books and Books: This was a recent discover and honestly the layout of the whole place was so cool. This specific location is bigger than others and offers guests a full menu, happy hour, and outdoor seating. It’s the cutest. So if you’re really trying to get your study on, this might not be the place but if you love books, then this is your spot. They had an eclectic selection, some of these books I had never seen or heard before.
Let me know if you go to any of these places and what you think! What are your go-to’s when you’re trying to get your study on? Let me know in the comments below. I love you guys!
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
